I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
